Our Story
J. Clayborn's Bakery & Cafe has been a beloved part of the Lebanon, Tennessee community since 1947. With over 70 years of tradition and excellence, we’ve built a reputation for quality, flavor, and hospitality that keeps generations coming back. Originally established by the Clayborn family, the bakery was purchased by the Smith family in 2022, who proudly continue the legacy of handcrafted baked goods and timeless recipes.
At J. Clayborn's, we specialize in a wide variety of delicious offerings—from our warm, flaky pastries and fresh-baked breads to hearty breakfast plates and satisfying lunch options. Love coming here for my favorite comfort food. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is top tier. I don't know what they put in that soup but I could eat it every day. The pastries are also delicious. And it's cheaper than most places. Can't miss this place.

Recently ordered a cake for my Mother's Birthday. She did a lovely job on the cake and was so patient in letting me take my time to decide what type of cake design I wanted. The staff was all so friendly. The cake was delicious and there was not a piece left! It was exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely order from here again.
